  1. My system was just loaded with 6.0 and previous 5.8.4 backup restored. All is fine except for Notifications, emails are working fine but notifications to UD Mobile not. I am seeing two notifications on the Plugins drop down, is that normal? It has been many years since I first set this up I don't remember seeing it twice. Looks like i need some pointers on notification setup.
  2. Thanks to you both. The reboot resolved it!
  3. Looking back I am thinking it started when I had the device unplugged when starting the console. Now it keep coming up every time I start the console but never when being used.
  4. Admin Console keeps giving me a "Failed Communication With" for a insteon device. When I OK it, I get it a second time. After that I can control (manually or via program), and restore it with no issues. Happens for same device every time I start the console. Any thoughts?
  5. I have no answer as to why my eisy stopped obtaining an IP address. The final fix was to obtain a 6.0 dongle and updating the eisy, cleared Java cache. After which I had to login with https://eisy.local.8443/desc using admin/admin. Then I was able to restore a backup done with version 5.8.4. After that all is well!
  6. Yes, everything the same. I did do a reset, no joy. Hooked up a monitor as see what appears to be a boot and a request to login which would only take the default which makes me think the reset worked. Backed out at that point. I did open a support ticket this AM.
  7. Yes led on eisy and router lit, I also replaced the cable no difference. I have powered down and forced a restart several times, no joy. The only thing I have not done is a factory reset.
  8. It is back where it came from, same everything just a different location on shelf.
  9. Unit was powered down to rearrange location, same router and network. After powerup never appears in DHCP table. Tried shutting down by 6 button taps, nothing. Hold button will force a shut down, removed power waited a couple of minutes powered up, waited few minutes nothing in DHCP table. As a long shot tried a different network cable. This is a unit which has been functioning fine for years. Any thoughts?
  10. Javi, Thanks, you pointed me in the right direction. Found the sounds were all mapped to the default notification sound. I downloaded sounds i wanted and remapped. Just do not remember doing this when I first set them up on the old phone. All is well, just reset my old phone to soon to be able to go back and look. Thanks again.
  11. Just upgraded to a new phone and notifications are not playing the assigned sounds from the Eisy. I'm sure I am missing something from when I set it up a couple of years ago. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

And how right you are!!! Skipped over the account setup paragraph. Thanks to both you and Techman for your help. Default had been working for me until recently when a leak detector should have reported. All is now working fine. 🙂

Thanks, but that did not work for me. I get the same error when using default or gmail. Please see the error and my gmail info. My google account has 2 factor identification, I turned that off and get the same results. Also tried it with and without "from".

I have had my SMTP setting set to default which has been working fine. Just discovered today with a water leak issue my notifications were not working. Test showing "Mail server failure". I tried setting it up to my gmail account only to get errors on that. Any advice on resolving the issue?
