  1. Many have seem issues after installing Tesla powerwall 3. Was trying to figure out how to get these issues go away. I suggest you look at this link and see if you could add any additional information regarding this and share it with the rest of us. https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/44344-issues-after-installing-tesla-powerwall-3/
  2. Typically, when using EISY and I’m replacing an Insta device, I could just do a replacement and not have to reprogram everything. I would like to replace my 6 key keypad with the four key I three. Only using four of the buttons on the six key keypad. One of the things I love about EISY is that is easy to replace a switch without having to go back in and change all the programs. while I know it doesn’t look like a direct replacement. Is there any way to do this easily using EISY?
  3. What issues did you have and what did you think it helped with?
  4. Fwiw someone said these don’t flicker https://inovelli.com/products/z-wave-800-red-series-smart-2-1-on-off-dimmer-switch?variant=41767605534885 again I’ll ask what could help comm issues
  5. While I definitely understand that the flickering is a bit annoying or pulsing. In my case, the secondary and more important issue is I find that with the power wall active, I see a lot more communication issues with.Eisy. ideally, I would like to figure out how to eliminate the communication issues that the power wall seems to be causing. I have installed two of the XPNR filters.(one on each leg.) within the power wall to see if that helped. i’m not 100% sure but it may have helped a little bit. Regardless, I still have some communication issues, and I even temporarily tried moving the PLM to another socket to see if that helped. I only tried moving it to one other socket. It didn’t seem to make a difference. I even tried replacing my old PLM with a brand new one to see if that helped. since I only have some pulsing on a few of the lights, I definitely consider the Insteon communication issue a much bigger problem that I would like to address. does anyone have any ideas on what could help?
  6. We’ll still working on this problem anyone have any updates?
  7. Well, I am glad to hear that that brand of switch doesn’t blink. My only problem with moving over to them is the fact that if I use something like Z wave, my. Eisy would require extensive reprogramming on the replacement in on switches since eisy provides easy replacement of Insteon without reprogramming. I currently do not want to convert off of. Eisy at the present time. The other main issue is that why saw a small improvement in communication errors being reduced perhaps while putting in. A Xpnr on each of the two power walls, I still see issues with communication on queries. I would really love to try to resolve the communication issue and I’ve been looking for a solution on that.
  8. So any other updates from anyone in resolving these issues with powerwall 3?
  9. It’s under this I changed it to 2.5 as it seemed it was worse when set to 1.5 the Pics are from the Tesla manual so ignore the pics say 50hz fyi
  10. So I downloaded the Tesla one app for installers and when the installer was out here, I took a picture of the tag inside the primary power wall. as I mentioned before he put 2XPNR filters on each of the power walls leg one and leg two. And we reduced the back up offset frequency to 1.5. It seemed like communication queries got a little worse so I logged in myself today and changed it back to an offset of 2.5 to see if that helps. I will advise if I think communication is better now, but the flickering is still there.
  11. It’s good to know that your flicker went away with those switches. Also, I imagine you won’t have the communication issues that I’m having with Insta on queries. I’ve been looking at inovelli Zwave also. When replace an Insta switch with one of those switches, do you have to rewrite all the programs or can you do a replace like you do when an Insteon switch goes bad to replace it with a new one or do you have to search and replace on all your programs.
  12. Just another update on trying to fix communication issues and the blink every 1-2 mins on some dimmers with Insteon and the power wall 3. I had the installer put in 2X 10 Xpnr filters, one on each leg of the power walls. (I have 2 pw3s) They also installed a doughnut wrapped 2 times surround the outgoing power from the power walls. I don’t think there is any Change in communication but I will continue to test. Also, some lights blinking every minute and a half or so that is still happening. I also had them change the backup frequency shift to a maximum of 1.5 Hz from what it was before. don’t know exactly what to try next to improve communication as I feel that is the more serious problem anyone else had any more progress on this?
  13. Still waiting for the iOS upgrade and just fyi
  14. Interesting. I also see that using AC on the computer it seems that some queries fail and if tried again, it works so definitely some level of noise from the powerwalls. Installer is coming back out to even try adding more ferrite cores from Tesla on the lines. I can share with you that the best ferrite cores to use are type 31. Others may not work as well at suppressing noise on the line and you may want to try those. I’ll keep you posted on what happens after installer call on Monday
  15. I got an answer from Universal devices, and they said that in order to run that version of polyglot, will requires our latest OS 14.x which will be release by the end of the week. hopefully when it comes out, we will be able to run and install 3.2.27
