  1. Bigdvette I did in fact replace my POM with a brand new one. I did move the plm to different outlets to see if that effected coms and it seems it may a bit. my real question is since Tesla came out, do you see that your communication and queries are better or the same. I will tell you that all of my switches, including my PLM or dual.Band. I feel I am kind of willing to live with a bit of flickering that I get currently but it’s extremely important to make sure that my communication between EISY and my switches are as good as possible. any insight or comments to this would be appreciated
  2. Interesting info. Since my flicker is a min, I’m more concerned about the comm errors. I took the liberty of using a long extension cord to plug it in to a further AC plug near the other side of the house to see if that helped to resolve some of the common errors. It did seem to make an effect and I’m still judging it. It would be good, however to still figure out why when I shut down the power walls and disconnect them from the house all of my other problems go away. Do you have any opinions on this?
  3. About 20 mins
  4. @bigDvette I kind of agree and I look forward to hearing what Tesla says when they finally come out to investigate. While the flickering is a little annoying INSTEON, my bigger problem, I believe is communication errors through EISY. I haven’t tried moving my PLM around using extension cords to see if it changes if I put it on a different socket. I truly wish I could address the errors and communication inquiries, which is causing me more concern than the flickering. Any suggestions you or anyone else has to increase? Reliability of communications would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Cooltoys first of all, let me thank you for the large write up and you went over a lot of information. My question is regarding Insteon communications. Putting in the whole house filter and surge protector help with communicationsinsteon? Did you find that communication and queries improved?
  6. Many have seem issues after installing Tesla powerwall 3. Was trying to figure out how to get these issues go away. I suggest you look at this link and see if you could add any additional information regarding this and share it with the rest of us. https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/44344-issues-after-installing-tesla-powerwall-3/
  7. Typically, when using EISY and I’m replacing an Insta device, I could just do a replacement and not have to reprogram everything. I would like to replace my 6 key keypad with the four key I three. Only using four of the buttons on the six key keypad. One of the things I love about EISY is that is easy to replace a switch without having to go back in and change all the programs. while I know it doesn’t look like a direct replacement. Is there any way to do this easily using EISY?
  8. What issues did you have and what did you think it helped with?
  9. Fwiw someone said these don’t flicker https://inovelli.com/products/z-wave-800-red-series-smart-2-1-on-off-dimmer-switch?variant=41767605534885 again I’ll ask what could help comm issues
  10. While I definitely understand that the flickering is a bit annoying or pulsing. In my case, the secondary and more important issue is I find that with the power wall active, I see a lot more communication issues with.Eisy. ideally, I would like to figure out how to eliminate the communication issues that the power wall seems to be causing. I have installed two of the XPNR filters.(one on each leg.) within the power wall to see if that helped. i’m not 100% sure but it may have helped a little bit. Regardless, I still have some communication issues, and I even temporarily tried moving the PLM to another socket to see if that helped. I only tried moving it to one other socket. It didn’t seem to make a difference. I even tried replacing my old PLM with a brand new one to see if that helped. since I only have some pulsing on a few of the lights, I definitely consider the Insteon communication issue a much bigger problem that I would like to address. does anyone have any ideas on what could help?
  11. We’ll still working on this problem anyone have any updates?
  12. Well, I am glad to hear that that brand of switch doesn’t blink. My only problem with moving over to them is the fact that if I use something like Z wave, my. Eisy would require extensive reprogramming on the replacement in on switches since eisy provides easy replacement of Insteon without reprogramming. I currently do not want to convert off of. Eisy at the present time. The other main issue is that why saw a small improvement in communication errors being reduced perhaps while putting in. A Xpnr on each of the two power walls, I still see issues with communication on queries. I would really love to try to resolve the communication issue and I’ve been looking for a solution on that.
  13. So any other updates from anyone in resolving these issues with powerwall 3?
  14. It’s under this I changed it to 2.5 as it seemed it was worse when set to 1.5 the Pics are from the Tesla manual so ignore the pics say 50hz fyi
  15. So I downloaded the Tesla one app for installers and when the installer was out here, I took a picture of the tag inside the primary power wall. as I mentioned before he put 2XPNR filters on each of the power walls leg one and leg two. And we reduced the back up offset frequency to 1.5. It seemed like communication queries got a little worse so I logged in myself today and changed it back to an offset of 2.5 to see if that helps. I will advise if I think communication is better now, but the flickering is still there.
