I was referring a scene in general. like I mentioned earlier if the philip hue sensor or insteon sensor trigger turn the hue bulbs on. but is my understanding that should be easily done. I asked here 1st before committing the $$ for the hue system just to make sure that it would semi work. some of the step I could find, IP etc. question would all this be only possible using the Isy network module or can it also be setup with the mobilinc connect service. and is the network module a yr subscription? thank for all the details.

thanks, In the worst case if I have to reset everything would it be preferable to do so on the insteon devices, the isy or both.

o wow, thanks for the info. so in this case it would be considered safe to have 2 serial PLM and have the Insteon devices connected/paired to them at the same time. while 1 is up the other one would be completely unplugged. I will keep and eye on amazon. ty.

thanks guys, So I get if I would like just to use 1 PLM to use the Serial version. in that case it wont get confused or would it still get confuse if I use a different software to test in the PC. let say, the insteon devices are linked to the serial PLM on the ISY, if I borrow the same PLM to use on a PC just to test out a HA software would it cause conflicts and mess everything out? ty.

I always get confuse with those term. would you be able to provide one example. Would it do this. Insteon motion sensor detect motion, then it would turn the hue light on? can you provide a example of what it would not do. Thanks. That sound semi advance, is there any tutorial for that. I assume this way it would do just about anything. can it also be program on the main PC?

Just wondering if that even possible to connect the Isy. would it send power to the USB device. if not, how easy is to swap back to back between the 2413s and 2413u. I just want to test out a PC thanks.

Hi, after seen this videos I am wondering if ISY could integrate with voxcommando http://voxcommando.com/home/features/ it say Flexible API - VoxCommando doesn’t just talk to other programs, it listens too. Other programs can send messages to VoxCommando via UDP, HTTP, TCP, or command line that trigger events or execute actions. You can even host a simple web server. Thanks.
