Hi, I have an existing outlet linc dimmer that I believe is failing as the switch started turning on/off and beeping when set to on. I was going to replace with a new i3 outlet however, wanted to confirm my 994 would control it. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I was wondering if there is a program that could be run that would reboot the ISY like once per day. My ISY will lock up every few days....when I reboot it it catches up and all is ok again, so I was thinking that a daily reboot would solve the problem. Thanks, Pete

Thanks Michel, The downgrade caused significant other problems, however, I was able to successfully restore from a former backup. I re-linked the IR Linc and then restored the PLM. It now appears to be functioning again, although the links on the IR Link to the ISY are not correctly appearing (although it is now functioning). I placed the IR Linc in setup, re-stored it IR code in the IR Linc, then in the ISY GUI, selected "Add IR link button" and immediately selected finish. After a reboot, this then seemed to restore the link ( although it does not display the controller or responder detail). Again, it appears to be working again now so I will leave it alone .....you guys may have some issues though with the .15 correctly reflecting IR link details and operation. Hello Michael, Yes both my UI and firmware versions are the same. Also, I have a static IP on my ISY and my PC so this has not changed. Thanks again for your assistance. Pete

Hi, I have one one of the first IR Linc Recvrs (V.22). I recently upgraded my ISY 99 to 3.1.15 and since then it appears my ISY will not respond to the IR Linc commands. I have removed the IR Linc, cleared all links, and attempt to re-add. I have followed the "add button to IR Linc" process, and in doing so, the ISY "locks up" after the process is completed. I keep getting the error "discovering nodes - retry" and the only thing that will clear this is a re-boot. I have also used the "add new device option", with the keep existing links option. The IR Linc is then added however, no links appear, although I have stored the IR codes. Is there a software compatibility issue with the .15 version or is there some other procedure I can use to resolve? Thank you! Pete

Hi, I have an IR Linc, it has been added to the ISY for some time however, I have not used it for anything. When originally added, I selected "keep existing links", and the ISY added it correctly. I now wanted to add more nodes on the IR Linc and using a universal NEC remote, followed the procedure "add button to IR Linc Recvr". I made several attempts and this process caused the ISY to throw an error "Discovering Nodes, Retry" when attempting to navigate to any other device. I have removed the IR Linc and re-added with the "remove existing links" option. The IR Linc was added however, same issue was repeated when attempting to add nodes again. I am running 2.8.10 on the ISY, and the ISY reports the IR Linc as v22 ( It is one of the first versions). Thanks for your help! Pete

Hi, Recently my 99i has "frozen" a few time so I had to reboot it. The issue is that after the reboot all my programs "next scheduled run date" advance to the next day rather than continuing to execute on the current day, even if the time has not past of when the program is to start. Probably a simple answer but I cant figure it out! Thanks for any ideas, Pete

Hi Michel, Still no luck. I have reset the KPL, changed it to 6 button mode and back to 8 (using the instructions you provided). I have removed the device from the ISY and attempted to re-add. After button D, the ISY now appears to get "stuck".....with a message "initializing system". I attempted a reboot and same problem. As an FYI, my old home-linc software sees this as an 8 button device. Thanks for any additional help / ideas you have.

Hi Oberkc - The keypad is already set up as an 8 button, I also attempted to reset the keypad (per the smarthome instructions) and the ISY still only shows this it as a six button.

Hi, One additional issue. I have one Keypad Linc conifigured for 8 buttons however, the ISY only can "see" it as a 6 configuration. I have removed and re-added the device however, still only 6. Also in the event viewer, the ISY does not show any traffic if button 7 or 8 is pressed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, A proud new owner of an ISY99 and have figured out just about everything except integration with my EZRAIN v.FF. The ISY discovered the EZRAIN unit and added the zones however, will not operate the zones individually. Additionally, I have a keypad linc with buttons linked to the zones (works fine) and the ISY shows all EZRAIN zones (1- on each keypad linc button. If I operate the scene, all scenes will activate only zone one. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
