  1. THANK you! I had done some searching; I knew I wasn't likely to be the only person that had thought of this idea. It just seems like an obvious solution at this point. Take hundreds or thousands of bricked hubs, make them work as PLM's. If it doesnt cost too much to make it happen, it would drive sales of ISY's. UDI might be able to profit off it and make customers happy.
  2. Trying to convince a hub user to switch to an ISY 994i The problem is: no PLM availability. The Insteon Hub has the PLM functionality inbuilt. But the Hub is now a brick. How hard would it be to use the components in the Insteon Hub to make a PLM? If someone could figure out how to turn the Hub into a PLM at least then people could buy a 994i and connect it to their "hub/plm" and continue on
  3. First day using my 994i. Been using Insteon with a Hub for about a year now. I was going to try to keep existing links, so I added all my devices without removing links. Yes, that was a mistake. I've got half links and missing devices, so things aren't quite right. I decided "hey, wouldn't this be easier if I could remove all the links?" I was right, it would be easier. Thing is, the software you guys have only allows removing links by one method: when adding a new device. So now you've given me the solution but made it hard to get to: I have to remove my device and then re-add it. So my question is: why is there not a way to right click on the device and simply kill all the existing links (basically factory reset the device remotely). Wouldn't that be easier?
