    99i flashes on Mem and Error

    did you have a power line disturbance recently? if so this is the likely cause. you will need to try to reset your 99i at least 3-4 times before getting it back. that is, do a hardware reset and keep the button pressed until you see all the lights flash, then keep repaeating this. i had exactly the same issue and was able to recover the 99i. good luck.
