I am adding my two cents. My PLM died 2 years later as well. 70 bucks is too much to spend to be replacing this every 2 years. I will head on over to the Smarhome forum to add my displeasure. But I must say for me it was pretty painless in replacing it in ISY. I just made sure I followed the exact steps outlined in the Wiki ensure that the ISY and the PLM booted in the right sequence and to start the restore process.
