RichTJ99 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Hi, I have a pool & two different 220v intermatic pool timers (one for the pool pump, one for the pool cleaner). My pool guy suggested getting a Jandy control system, Jandy valve actuators to change the heating from pool to spa, and it would also integrate into the heater itself to control the heat levels. I started to wonder if there was an ISY solution that might be better. On one hand, it works right now & I do have to manually open & close valves, and manually set the heat, its not exactly a chore. On the other hand, I do like gadgets. I did read a bit about a few solutions & something from autelis which does work with ISY. Any ideas would be great! Thanks, Rich
CopyRon Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I have a Jandy electronic control valve with 2 sensors, one on my shed roof, where I have a solar water heater and one in the water line, the valve automatically sends the water to the roof or bypass the roof whichever is warmer. It also contains a thermostat, so the pool won't get too warm. My pool in South Jersey has already reached 86 degrees with just my solar heater.
