Thermostat Not Showing Correct Tempurature

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have the INSTEON Thermostat with Humidity Sensor Model #2441TH.

I have it set at 72 and it seems to be at that temourature, however, the screen shows the room temp is 79-80. Why is this? How can I fix it?

The temperature change messages are not making it from the thermostat to the PLM.

A few days ago a user was told by Smarthome tech support the thermostat antenna is directional. He placed a Dual Band device across from the thermostat and it cured the communications problems.

This is the link to that post

I do not mean the temp that I set the device to, which is 72. I am speaking about the temp that it shows as the current temo in the room. As you can see by the screenshot from the admin console, it even shows 79degrees there.

If the Thermostat is not displaying the ambient temp that is a thermostat issue. Applications do not control the displayed temp on the thermostat. Contact Smarthome tech support. Sounds like you need a new thermostat.
