Badrobots Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I have a system that until recently was working pretty well. ISY99 i pro (firmware 3.3.10) Several outletlinc, keypadlincs, plug-in modules, etc a triggerlinc an IOLinc motion sensor I had programs setup to trigger when the triggerlinc (set to detect a projector) was on or off. No problems for about a year. Then suddenly it stopped working. The triggerlinc still works (led goes from red to green), but its not communicating with the ISY. If I manually querry the device, it will then register the change in state and trigger the program, but on its own, it won't register the change in state. Same applys when the projector is turned off: the triggerlinc goes from green to red, but the ISY still shows as "on". Manually querry, and it will pick up the change. I have made no recent changes in the system, and everything else (motion sensor trigger, IOlink, etc) seems to communicate as it should Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
LeeG Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Can you post the actual device type number. A TriggerLinc is battery powered RF only which cannot be queried.
Badrobots Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 ***whistles nonchalantly*** Sorry! Its a Synchrolink 2423A5
LeeG Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Try restoring the device. Right click the node, select Restore Device. This will rebuild the link database if that has been lost. Sounds like the device is functional, just not sending the state change to the PLM.
Badrobots Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Worked like a charm. Thanks! Any idea why it suddenly lost its link?
