MatthewG Posted July 21, 2013 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Does anyone know how to use the Insteon micro On/off device as an alert response with a outside security flood light connected to an "always on" power supply when the motion sensor is triggered and the light actually turns on? Currently I can control when power is sent to the light but the light itself has internal interface to only turn on at night and when motion is detected, thus not needing to be triggered to be turned on with the micro remotely. I would like to get an alert through my isy or mobilinc when the motion sensor is triggered. Any thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some of them had a relay wire that you could tie into another device to chain them, if one came on they all came on. I have an old X-10 light sitting in the box for years with this feature.
