RichTJ99 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Hi, I am looking to make a scene so that the keypad buttons will dim my sons room to various percentages. I am also looking for a keypad to make the hallway light scene 15%. Can I do that or does it require a program vs a scene? Thanks, Rich For another button in my bedroom, I have this program because I couldnt figure out the scene part: If Control 'Main: Master Bedroom A' is switched Off And From 10:00:00PM To 6:35:00AM (next day) Then Set Scene 'All Off' Off Wait 15 seconds Set 'Main: Upstairs Hall Keypad' 10% Set 'Main: Upstairs Hall - bottom ' 10% Set 'Main: Upstairs Hall - by Bath' 10% Set 'Main: Upstairs Hall - by Kids' 10% Set 'Main: Upstairs Hallway' 10% Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
LeeG Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 It can be done with a Scene. Define the ISY Scene with the KeypadLinc button as Controller and whatever devices should be responders. Click on the Red KeypadLinc button node name below the Scene name and set the various Responder On Levels to the desired values.
LeeG Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 If you want to use an Off command that cannot turn Responders On to any level with a Scene.
RichTJ99 Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 Lee, Are you saying after the scene is made, I can go in to change the on levels & that would only be for the scene? Thanks, Rich
RichTJ99 Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 OK, now i got it, thats great. A question is, if I am going to take 4 bedrooms that have keypads & do the following: A - that rooms fan B - That rooms light at 75% C - That rooms light at 50% D - That rooms light at 25% Am I better off using 1 program, or am I better off make 4 scenes? With four rooms, it would be 4 programs, or 16 scenes.
LeeG Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Don't see 4 Programs versus 16 Scenes. Each KPL button (A,B,C,D) in each room would drive a different Program which makes 16 Programs.
RichTJ99 Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 Whats the limit in scenes with teh ISY994 pro?
