Phillips Ambient & Endura LED Bulb recall

Phillips is recalling about 99,000 Ambient & Endura LED Bulbs for possible shock hazards.

I checked mine and did not have any with the slanted 'S' factory code or date codes.

Over the last year or so, I have read a number of LED lighting product recalls. The only LED lights I have in my home are flashlights and the bulb in my fridge ice/water dispenser (got tired of the incandescent bulb burning out every month) . I think I will sit on the sidelines until the technology has matured and the poor quality manufacturers/designs have been flushed out.
