keypadlinc to control scene, 100% load only

Featured Replies

Hello. I have some lights controlled by a keypadlinc. I have a scene set up on the isy admin console that includes these lights at 40% load. The problem is, that I would like the "a" button on the same keypadlinc to control this scene. However, it won't let me choose any other load except 100%. If I try to copy the scene attributes to this button, it seems like it's going to accept the 40%. Every time I check back, the slider is back at 100%. Anyone know what's going on? I a remotelinc set up to control the scene perfectly...but can't figure this out.

thanks

Are you clicking on the Scene name on the left side and setting button A on the right side to something other than 100%?

That will not work. Button A is a Responder when the Scene name is clicked. Click the Red button A node name below the Scene name on the left side and set the Responders to whatever On Level desired when button A is a Controller.

Thanks for your reply.

I am not clicking on the scene name...I am clicking on the red node below the scene name which represents a button on the kpl. The whole scene works perfectly if I use a remotelinc, but every time I click on the red node for the kpl in the scene, it reverts back to 100%.

could it have something to do with the fact that the firmware for the kpl 2486d is v.29?

without using the isy, I was able to manually program this scene...

Make the change to the On Level (assuming button A is selected and the ON button is being set to something other than 100%). Power cycle the KPL. I suspect a KPL that old will have issues getting a Secondary button to control the ON button with anything but 100% On (using commands).

What ISY firmware is being used?
