Keypadlinc acting strange

Featured Replies

I have a Keypadlinc (8 buttons) that suddenly started acting strangely. This morning I was unable to use some buttons. At some points the kpl emitted a low buzz.

I pulled the SET button out ,for 3 sec and put it back but I still had problems with buttons A & H.

I can turn on or off the light controlled by button1 only from my ISY994. Pressing the button #I can turn it off but I can't turn it ON.

I tried factory reset but I got the same results

After fooling around I changed the "ON Level[applied locally]" from 75% to 80% and I then was able to control the light from button1.

Looks like the level, set inside the KPL, as been set to 0% but couldn't see it from the ISY. I don't know what might have done that.

Now button8: I can change the button's led on or OFF but nothing else happens. there are no transactions in the Event viewer.

All the other buttons work OK: whenever I press one of them there's an event.

No events for button1 and 8

This configuration worked for several months without any problem.

Is it possible that this problems is related to a 6/8 buttons configuration?

The KPL is a genuine 8 buttons not a 6 to 8 changes!

BTW: the way I used the KPL is whenever a switch changes state I updated a variable which trigger some programs

So pressing a button creates an events in the Event viewer, but not for those 2 buttons today

Any ideas ?

Thanks
