bwbeisne
I recently had two 2486D units fail. I called to order replacements and was told it was replaced with the 2334-232 KeypadLink. This is an existing install using the ISY99. No matter how I add this device it shows up as unsupported and will not allow linking to anything but the main on/off buttons. Please advise. bwbeisne
Also in this order I bought a 2487S which did add all buttons to the ISY but did so in a very different way from my other KPL switches. It added each button as a separate device instead of a tree view as in previous adds of the older switches. How can I fix this? I really want the multifunction switches to show up as a tree.. collapse/expand
Brian H
Support for the newer KPLs and other devices. Was added to later firmware that can not fit in an ISY99i. To fully use the new devices an ISY994i that can accept the later firmware is needed. UDI has a upgrade to ISY994i from a ISY99i offer that I think is still valid. bwbeisne
Ty. Any thoughts on the second device? If I upgrade can I port my program/config to the new 994?
LeeG
"It added each button as a separate device instead of a tree view" Right click on KeypadLinc node and select Group Devices. This will put the KeypadLinc nodes into a tree. The Wiki has a section on migrating from 99i to 994i. A current ISY backup of 3.3.10 from the 99i would be installed on the 994i. http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... r_ISY-994i
