Using I/O Linc to monitor Honeywell Vista 20p security panel

I'm trying to set up an I/O Linc to monitor the arming and disarming of a Honeywell Vista 20p panel. All I need to do is just monitor the status of the security- if it's armed or disarmed. I have the Honeywell 4204 relay module that's addressed to unit module #13 (DIP switches performed) and programmed with *79 and *80 using a Honeywell 6162 keypad. I'm not sure of the wiring from the 4204 to the I/O Linc. There are 4 relays on the 4204 unit and there are "C, N/C, and N/O" for each of the relays. I tried hooking the 3 wires to the I/O Linc, but it doesn't seem to produce a state change from on to off when I arm and disarm the system. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I'm not familiar with the Honeywell panel but if you have a dry contact N/O and a Common lead coming from the panel and if the N/O contact closes when the panel is armed then all you need to do is hook up those two leads to the Sensor and Ground contacts on the I/O Linc.

When the sensor input changes. The sensor LED indicator will go On or Off.

If you use the N/O and C it should go On when the relay is activated.

The 5 volt terminal should not be used. Just the sensor and ground.

Thanks, I got it working. For those interested, I hooked up the N/O coming from the relay to the Sensor on the I/O Linc. Then, Common of relay to Ground of the I/O Linc. It is important that you have the 4204 relay correctly programmed using *79 and *80. The programming guide of the Vista 20p can be very confusing, but just read it over and over again until it sinks in. It took a while, but I'm finally figuring it out.
