Brian H Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 ISY99i or ISY994i? What firmware are you using? If you try and add the I/OLInc with the Event Viewer in level 3 device communications events. If you save the information. You can post it here so we can see what is happening. That may show additional information on what is happening.

LeeG Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Device 20.FA.7E is not responding to any of the commands sent to it. Make sure the Insteon address is correct. Move the I/O Linc near the PLM and try again with the Event Viewer at LEVEL 3.
tdotr6 Posted May 28, 2014 Author Posted May 28, 2014 It shouldn't be an issue on where it is located I have another I/O linc that works in that same plug.. I just tried it in another plug, ran an extension since they are located up where the garage motors are.. and it still isnt working.. this device did work before I got the ISY... I have never had it working and now that it is summer and I can stand being out here I am trying to get it to work with no luck! Could the device of gone bad? I also am using latest firmware.

I would move it to the PLM location to eliminate comm question. Here are three attempts to communicate with 20.FA.7E with no 02 50 response. oberkc Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Could the device of gone bad? Sure. But I would eliminate all other possibilities before reaching this conclusion.
oberkc Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Also, make sure your PLM is not surrounded by lots of other electronic devices, such as UPS, surge suppressors, or computer stuff.
