counselfly Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 What does the green sign by Front Door Light mean? I beleive The green is telling me there is an update to be loaded to that device. It is working but I can’t get that green sign away so it appears 'Normal', whatever that is. I keep getting the below message. This has happened to me several time in the past. The Front Door Light is working and its program is working but I still get this dreaded message ( last clip in this email). The Front Door Light is a SwitchLinc Dimmer v.37 2476D When I try to restore the device it tries and tries until the following message appears. "Cannot communicate with Front Door Light 11 61 5E 1. Please check connections." I have had this issue for several devices in the past year. Sometimes I cure it and sometimes not. I am running the UD994 v 4.0.5 Thanks for your help. Bill
LeeG Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer at LEVEL 3. Right click on SwitchLinc node and select Write Updates ....... Post the event trace so the nature of the comm problem can be evaluated.
