How to R&R a 2450

Hey all, I have an ISY with 55 devices, 36 scenes, 10 or so programs, and Mobilinc. Things have been running great for a year.

 

I have two Insteon 2450s running two garage door openers. Recently, the left 2450 is unreadable in the ISY console and neither the KPL nor the Mobilinc app will open the L garage door.

 

I tried a factory reset on the 2450 but it doesn't work. I have a fast blink on the status LED that won't go away.

 

I think I need a new 2450. Assuming I get one, how do I R&R and "Restore Device" without having to manual reprogram the new 2450? Is this possible if I give the new one the same name or will the new address on the new 2450 mess things up?
