Programming/Linking Process - and Interruptions

When I have ISY sending a bunch of programming link-binding set-up commands, does the protocol stand up to another set of packets going between other devices in the home?

For example, I have pressure pad zones in the house, which turn on;

- back hall

- kitchen

- stairs up

- stairs down

and two motion detectors:

- game room

- pc alcove (so when you open the cabinet the light overhead comes on).

So, there are a lot of chances for my client's family to be running around the house and triggering IOLincs to send packets, while the ISY is busy programming.

Does the protocol back off, allow other packets through, and then keep going without issues?

Thanks,

- Rob
