Waketech Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 All, Just wondering if having a spare is required as I have seen in the threads that this is a common failure, also is there any definitive time frame on the UDI PLM. Finally or is it just a good idea to have one regardless of which one it is ? Thanks

Finally or is it just a good idea to have one regardless of which one it is ? Thanks UDI PLM is scheduled to be released in Q1 of 2015. UDI is testing their first five units which just arrived. Smartlabs has since upgraded the PLM to hardware v2 which upgraded the failing capacitors. The newest firmware has also removed the *ALL ON* flag from the system so this can not happen again. With anything mission critical having a back up is just plain common sense. You will need to balance out cost vs reward. Edited November 30, 2014 by Teken
