chiliman
I have an old smarthome lamplinc 2000stw. I would like to link it until my newer modules arrive. I have tried to automaticly link it but the device did not get recognized. I coulld add it manually but I am not sure how to get the address of the device. So first can I llink this older module to ISY994i. Thanks, Link to comment
stusviews
The LampLinc you refer to is a pre-Insteon, X10 compatible device. It does not have an X10 house/unit code until one is assigned to it. Link to comment
Brian H
You can't add it to your ISY994i setup as Stu pointed out. Actually after a Factory Reset. The 2000STW has a default X10 address of A1. You can program a different one into it. You can send X10 commands from your ISY994i but only in programs. The optional A10/X10 firmware module allows a few more things to be done. http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i_Series_INSTEON:Enhanced_A10/X10 Link to comment
chiliman
Thanks all - I need not spend anymore time with this then. I will wait until my Insteon devices arrive. Link to comment
