Linking mini-remote 2342-232

I am trying to link my mini-remote 4 scene.

I get hunk up not knowing what to put in the address:

I do 'Link Management --> Link a Remote Linc 2 --> 4 Scene Keypad'

and I get the 'Confirm' Splash.

I turn on the mini-remote and depress the Set button until the LED flashes Green.

I click OK an then get the panel which requires an address - where do I get that?

Or do I need to link differently?

I have a dual band LampLinc already linked so that seemed to work fine.

Thanks

Doh! (head slap)

Thanks!

No worries your not the first one to ask. It should be noted that you could have used the two (whirling) arrows button, then pressed the set button on the RL.

Using your method simply allows you to add a friendly name right away and select some link options.

No right or wrong just preference.

Well the original RemoteLinc the ID was inside the battery compartment. So if you didn't make a note of it. You had to remove the battery closest to the bottom to even read it. :mrgreen:

Worse good luck reading it if it was stuck to the battery and not noticing it and throwing it away!

Or where the battery acid eats the label.
