impossible Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Hello, I'm trying to add a IRLinc Transmitter to my ISY994ipro when I use the add insteon device, I enter the address 21.01.6D then give it a name and under AUTO DISCOVER I select the 2411T under that. It looks like its adding it to the database but every time it has the error: The following devices could not be added: 21.01.6D (2411T) IRLince Transmitter v4A - Cannot add Insteon Device This is the third such devices (2411T I've bought other ones said something about the engine but none work Any suggestions?

impossible Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 Got the 2411T added to the ISY and even a "Then" command but the command we learned to the 2411T does not seem to affect or control the TV. When we test and hit the set button the blaster fires but nothing happens? Is there a trick to teaching the 2411T commands and knowing what command its sending? when?
impossible Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 Stu, Thanks for the link. The problem is the instructions are rather vague, add nodes or buttons? Plus the learning commands from a remote by pressing twice on the 2411T are vague, can you keep teaching it multiple commands? how do you know which command its sending when you you click on it, going to that link there are a few sentences and no answer. Sorry just not getting it?
