March 4, 201510 yr I have a speakercraft system, it seems all the vendors are now owned by the same holding company and support is variable... I keep looking at replacing and I see three options I think there are several viable options based on what I see actively supported russound sonos casatunes (with or without a multiroom system) it really depends on what you want in terms of connectivity, app support, airplay support etc, my preference if I had the money would be speakers in the ceiling with sonos amp hidden - only downside for me is no airplay and unclear how open they are in terms of integration with HA I also like the idea of casatunes but they are 'no name' but they do know about HA (they just announce support for things like control4 and they have APIs) Personally I have not decided what path to take as changing over for me is tough given the re-wiring I might need to do. Not sure that was too helpful but hopefully this will help inform your research direction...
