How to create a Tasker program using Mobilinc plugin as the state?

I think you're trying to push to Mobilinc. You have it backwards. Mobilinc pulls from the ISY994I. what you do is find your device in Mobilinc > Advanced Options > at the bottom Notification Settings > choose On or Off > then fill out a custom message.

It is really robust. I've killed most of my notifications from the ISY994i and used Mobilinc as my Notification Center.

Be warned: the notifications work really well but on iOS they get sent to Notification Center and as duck they are limited by notification center's message limit which I think is 10. Unlike most apps that have noticed, when you click on them they take you to their corresponding app and show you a list of notices. Mobilinc has no such list or log to review. I've spoken to Wes about adding such a repository to review unseen notifications. He's really good about making changes he sees as good additions.

Well my question was more of how to do this with the Tasker app on android.  Are you saying mobilinc sends notifications?  I don't see that as an option.  Maybe just for iphone.

I apologize I misunderstood that this was Android. Yes, on iOS it has the ability to push notifications. When you are looking at a specific device, under advanced options, is there nothing there for "Notifications?"

Wes (Mobilinc Developer)? Can you chime in here?

Yep. Install pushover on device. Set Tasker task to play sound when certain pushover message is received. Send email to Pushover email interface and done. Personally, I use Autoremote and the network interface and find it fairly instant. Email can have delays.

Email to pushover and Tasker can act on it, I have a tablet that uses text to speech to read some pushover notifications. I use network module to talk to pushover api, but you could use emails.

I've been waiting for you to chime in on this.  So I get the ISY to email pushover?

Sorry, life gets in the way of reading forums sometimes :-/ Yes that should work. I don't remember, but I don't think pushover Android app is free. I tried to use pushbullet, but Tasker doesn't have access to what is in the message, but you probably could use it to make a specific sound when one is received.

There is a trick with Pushbullet, but I've not found it very reliable. Pushbullet can automatically set the device clipboard to the content of the message, then Tasker can read the clipboard.

Yes, I was not able to get that to work completely either, I thought it was me.. I wish I could use pushbullet, but for this reason, and because pushover has high priority I have stayed with it for my notifications. But it is on my list to look at autoremote, just waiting for variable support in the network module since I'll redo everything when that is working. Oh, and there is a new Tasker pushbullet plugin I need to check out as well.

Pushbullet needs either the ISY network module, or you need to add IFTTT as a middle tier. Pushbullet do not operate an email to push gateway.

Pushover does operate an email to push interface - but its not free.

Notify my android also operates an email to push interface, and a Tasker trigger. Might want to look at that one as well.

Most of us doing this use the network module - its generally much faster and more reliable. However, network module does not support variable substitution. That will be fixed sometime in the 5.x timeframe.... :)

I didnt see a tasker plugin for notify my android

Just added one on my phone. Trigger your profile on 'Event' and NotifyMyAndroid is under '3rd party events'. There you can set your filters to trigger on.
