cmotaval Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 I was looking at the elk 9200 to control my pool pump with insteon but it says to install near the pump. Why can I not install it near my breaker as it would be alot easier. It also says to remove the lines neutral and ground going to the pump and install them into the 9200 and then run new wire to the pump. If I cut the wire from breaker to pump and if i have enough slack can I use the same wire? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can also cut the wires going to the pump and reuse them if there's enough slack to run in and out of the relay panel. Is your pump 120V or 240V? What HP is the pump?
