Thermostat Comm Issue or Dying PLM?

Never had a problem with my two Insteon thermostats until recently.  Had them for about 6 months now.

 

Recently the status of the thermostat isn't being updated in my ISY994i Pro.  If I go over to the thermostat it says it's 75 degrees and nothing is on.  In the ISY it shows 76 degrees and that cooling is on.  I query the device and nothing changes.  Sometimes the temperature will update to the correct temp but it still shows as cooling on when it's not.  Also, sometimes when I open up Mobilinc (Android) it show the temp as "---" sometimes is shows the heat and cool set points as "--" also sometimes it shows what they should be.

 

Suggestions on how I figure out if this is a PLM dying scenario or something wrong with both of my thermostats?

I'm also confused on the following:

This is ok as I've only used one hop but then two lines down is the following:

They say the exact same thing but less hops remaining?  Why?  What does that mean?  What does the rest of all of that log mean?  Is my PLM failing or am I just having comm issues all of a sudden now?  Nothing new has been added to the house?

 

Every switch in the house (~50 or so) is dual band and I have a repeater/range extender just 15' or so from one of the thermostats (and that extender is about 10' from my ISY and PLM).

 

I tried Restore Modem (PLM) without much difference.  Tried rebooting ISY and turning off ISY and unplugging PLM.  No difference.  No problems with any other devices (except one 6 month old on/off switch, the paddle has died, waiting for a replacement).

Sorry I didn't clarify better.  They are the 2441TH.
