Water link sensor - 3 nodes?

I got some water link sensors (the 2852-222) at Wal-Mart for half off.

Of course, the instructions assume you have the hub and not the ISY.

I manually added it (linked it I should say), but it shows up 3 times in the "network" section of the admin console.

But I have no idea which one of the 3 is what.  Supposedly it *should* add 3, but I can't tell which one is supposed to be used for what, (I did see the stick link on how to program it, but I think I need to know which node or whatever I have to select for things to work properly

Or not?

Thank you

The Leak Sensor has three nodes; Dry, Heartbeat and Wet. The nodes should already be labeled.

Thanks for the info, but the "name" on the left-hand side in the ISY is all the same.  Should I not have given the device a name when I linked it manually?

(Unless there's another spot to see where it added the "dry", etc. suffixes?)

To have the three Leak Sensor nodes in a Group, right click on one of the nodes and select Group Devices.   It brings the three nodes together.  Click the node with the +,sign to expand.   Also note that there is a limit to the size of the node names.   Using a long node name could prevent room for the - Dry, - Heartbeat, - Wet nodes.

- Dry node is On when Leak Sensor is Dry

- Wet node is On when Leak Sensor is Wet

- Heartbeat node receives On or Off command at the approx 24 hour period to know Leak Sensor is communicating.

The Leak Sensor 2 nodes have the Group Devices function used.   The Leak Sensor has not had the Group Devices used so the three nodes are not grouped together.  Two of the Leak Sensor nodes are toward the bottom of the image

Any chance you gave your leak sensors long names?  If the name you gave them is too long, you won't see the dry, wet, heartbeat

That apparently was the issue.

I deleted and then re-added with short names and now I can see what they are.

Thank you

In the future you don't have to delete a device in order t rename it, just right click and rename. This will also update any programs the device is in.

but when the nodes default function isn't listed because the name is too long, renaming it isn't going to add that function to the end of the name.

Exactly, and since I didn't know which one was which, I figured I'd just delete it and let it add it properly and then rename.

But thanks again.  Sorry it took so long to respond.
