Hi Folks, We are VERY excited for our upcoming 4.5/4.6 release of MobiLinc and wanted to share with you some details of the two MAJOR new plug-ins arriving for 4.5/4.6: Extended Screens Plug-In: Apple Watch and Today View support for MobiLinc Connect and direct IP users! Apple Watch: Extended Screens Plug-In Feature Highlights for Apple Watch: - Apple Watch support for MobiLinc Connect and direct IP users! - Supports any number of ISYs in any mix. Direct IP and MobiLinc Connect ISY users are all supported with real-time status together on Apple Watch. - Apple Watch Dynamic Notifications: If a notification is triggered by a device status change and that device is associated with an IP Camera, MobiLinc will grab the current image of your IP Camera for display in the Apple Watch notification. - Apple Watch app supports a fixed list of items (Dashboard) and a Near Me list of items that are just near you. See below for the Advanced Location plug-in information. - Siri Voice Control! Using the powerful Siri voice recognition engine, dictate your home automation commands to Siri for MobiLinc's Voice plug-in to process. Today View: Extended Screens Plug-In Feature Highlights for the Today View: - Based on overwhelming feedback asking for direct IP support for widgets, we're proud to announce that we've added our rich Today View widget support for our direct IP users to the Today View! MobiLinc Connect users will continue to receive Today View widget support included as part of the MobiLinc Connect subscription. - Supports any number of ISYs in any mix. Direct IP and MobiLinc Connect users are all supported with real-time status together on the Today View. - Sensitive to the context awareness from the Advanced Location plug-in below to only show you what you want to see on the Today View. Advanced Locations Plug-In: Making MobiLinc, Apple Watch, and the Today View location contextually aware Near Me support in MobiLinc and Apple Watch: Advanced Locations Plug-In Feature Highlights: - Support for ANY iBeacon hardware to enable MobiLinc to understand where you are in your house. Setup is similar to geo-fencing where you can optionally have MobiLinc update an ISY variable as you move in and out of your iBeacons. - Associate any device, scenes, or program to an iBeacon or geo-fence status (inside or outside) so that MobiLinc, Today View, and Apple Watch are contextually aware and can dynamically show you the items you are interested in based on your location when you are home or away. - Setup notification triggers based on entering/leaving an iBeacon or geo-fence location. Example: When walking up to your front door, get a real-time notification asking if you'd like to unlock the door. All notifications are now actionable right from Apple Watch or the Notification center. No longer necessary to find and open MobiLinc to issue commands. Another example is to have MobiLinc issue a notification trigger based on leaving your geo-fence but only when your garage door is open. Tap "Close" from the notification on your Apple Watch or iPhone to close the garage. Triggers are not only location/iBeacon aware they are also status sensitive as well to only trigger in the right context. Other minor features that deserve a mention: - Overhauled the geo-fence creation feature so that you can create any geo-fence anywhere in the world. Setup geo-fences for MobiLinc for your office and vacation home without leaving your house. - Overhauled the IO Linc control (garage door). You can now tap the IOLinc status icon to control the relay. Drop the status icon on the Dashboard, Apple Watch, and Today View for simple garage door status and control from a single icon. - Internal overhaul of memory management to help prevent iOS from dumping MobiLinc in a memory pressure scenario. - Fixed the IP Camera views in MobiLinc HD for widescreen cameras. Current Status of the 4.5/4.6/4.7 Release: - 9-18-2015: Apple has approved 4.7.1! App updates will roll out over the next 24 hours. - 9-15-2015: Beta Invites were released for 4.7.1 - 9-13-2015: 4.7.1 was submitted to Apple for review to address the iOS 9 iPhone Today View display issue. - 9-4-2015: Apple has approved 4.6.3! App updates will roll out over the next 24 hours. - 8-27-2015: Beta Invites were released for 4.6.3. This version was submitted to Apple for review.. - 8-24-2015: Beta Invites were released for 4.6.2. - 8-21-2015: Beta Invites were released for 4.6.1. - 8-13-2015: Apple has approved 4.5.4! App updates will roll out over the next 24 hours. - 8-5-2015: Beta Invites were released for 4.5.4. This version was submitted to Apple for review. - 8-3-2015: Beta Invites were released for 4.5.3. - 7-31-2015: Beta Invites were released for 4.5.2. - 7-26-2015: Beta Invites were released. - 7-24-2015: Submitted to Apple for review for our TestFlight Beta Testers. We're expecting approval from Apple to Beta Test this release in the next 24-48 hours. At that point, beta testers will be notified via email. Current plan is to beta test for 2 weeks and then release to Apple for the public in early to mid August. I will keep this post updated as we move toward our public release and into your hands! InsteonNut Posted July 27, 2015 Author Share Posted July 27, 2015 Hi Dwight, Are you actually referring to the "Today View" widget? I'm not sure what else would report "Unable to Load". If this is what you are referring to, can you please remove MobiLinc HD from your widget list in the Today View, close the Today View, and then re-add MobiLinc HD to your widget list? dstanley Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Thanks Wes ... You were right in that I had to remove it and then re-add back to the TODAY list. I had to do it twice though but then the widget icons came up - Thanks for your help. I hope that I will still have my previous 'purchases' of the ip cameras when I revert out of beta!? When I 'restored' my store purchases I had to click on purchase to get it back again. I know you mentioned that we had to simulate purchasing the other plugins. You need to "buy" the plug-ins to simulate the purchase but this is only applicable to that particular beta drop. Your live purchases against the official release version are separate. andyf0 Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Wes, What is the length of time you wait before reporting an iBeacon "Outside"? Or is that an IOS thing?
