Hello,

It's been a long time since I purchased your eKeypad app, spending roughly $100 for everything and being told that the Zwave lights will be supported with ISY.  I only have Z-Wave devices so i've NEVER been able to actually use them correctly with your app (The zwave lights show up as "outputs" with limited functionality)

Are you going to actually support these devices, or should I cut my losses and move to a different app?

Thank you,

Hello eKeypad Team,

I also have purchased your app including supporting add on modules.

I too am interested in future developments, including Z-Wave Modules ?

Thanks

I am sorry you are having issues with eKeypad. I would be happy to help you get everything working.

We have had full support for Z-Wave devices through the ISY for several releases (since late spring 2015) and we are not aware of any issues in production. We are definitely not aware of any Z-Wave lights being miss-classified as relay outputs. But we are only human and bugs to occur. Please reach out to use so we can diagnose exactly what is occurring and help you get this resolved.

Have you submitted this issue through the support screen in eKeypad? If not, please do. It is located at the bottom of the configuration screen and is the best starting point for us to determine what is happening.

Support for Z-Wave devices through the ISY was a free enhancement added to the eKeypad ISY driver in late spring 2015. There are no add-on modules or additional purchases required for Z-Wave. Once you have an ISY correctly configured in eKeypad it should recognize all INSTEON and Z-Wave devices setup in the ISY.

However, I will admit there are a LARGE number of Z-Wave manufacturers and devices. If you find a device is not detected correctly or can not be controlled correctly, please contact using the support link at the bottom of the eKeypad configuration screen.
