Mobilinc Icon question

I am trying to use icons to show the status of a program in the today view of my phone. I was working under the assumption that when a program's status is true, it would show one icon, and when a program's status is not true, it would show a different icon.

The topic in question is a garage door. I have my programs set up so that when the garage door is open, the "if" statement of the program is true. When the garage door is closed, the "if" statement is false. The programs seem to be working fine in that when the door goes up, the status of the program changes to true, and when the garage door is closed, it changes to false. However, the icon doesn't change. It does change for the time that the program is running, ie. it is in the "Running Then" state.

Am I working under a false assumption that the icon changes when the program changes from "true" to "false"? It only seems to change from closed to open when the program is in the "Running Then" state.

Hi ryarber,

The icon changes when running regardless of running true or running false. We're looking at how to best offer a way to assign to true/false instead.

Thanks for response. One icon for "=true" and another for "!=true" would be great for my purposes. So that whether it's running then or running else or false, it could show the same icon.
