I just ordered 3 iBescons from kontakt.io to get started. They got great reviews from group that reviewed 26 different products. I'll post results when they arrive from Poland!

These beacons are excellent but pricey. and can be configured in many ways from iOS app. Work with Mobilinc but my device and scene names are longer so very hard / impossible to read names in circular icon.

 

Wes, we need a short name feature either in Mobilinc or ISY.

 

I've since order 3 more indoor and 3 outdoor.

Could this be used for both spoken word and as a short name?

Yes, we could look at this. I'm not sure that it's obvious that the spoken word overrides the name field, but I'll add it to my list to investigate.

Wes, Thanks for the consideration. Being able to select display device or spoken name to display would provide option to shorten and make much more readable simply based on context of room one is in....
