Have searched but am not finding reason for green tag with 1101 listed beside switch. What does this mean?

That devices so listed have changes that need written. I would right click on one of them, and choose "write changes...". If any remain, do another in the same way.

and after trying a "write changes" the 1101 still exists then you have a communication problem between the PLM and the Device.

What is the specific device with the 1101? Do you get ! after writing changes?

That is normal if the device is an RF only device. Each RF only device sleeps so an update will fail and be queued. Each RF only device (motion sensor, TriggerLinc, etc) must be put into manual link mode, then Write Updates to Device done. Each RF device must complete its update before putting next RF only device into manual linking mode.

 

If not an RF only device there is a comm issue to the device with the Green 1101 Icon.
