September 8, 201510 yr Just wondering if anyone can let me know if either of these are supported on z-Wave with the ISY, especially the LCD one? Thanks! Leviton Vizia RF+ ZWave Scene Controller with On-Off Switch - VRCS4-MRZhttps://www.aartech.ca/vrcs4-mrz-leviton-vizia-rf-zwave-scene-controller.html and Evolve Zwave Glass Front LCD Wall Mount Controller, 5 Button (White) - LCD-1-GLWHhttps://www.aartech.ca/product/00/LCD-1-GLWH/Evolve-Zwave-Glass-Front-LCD-Wall-Mount-Controller-5-Button-White- Thanks!
September 9, 201510 yr The VRCS4 is definitely not supported yet. That is a multichannel device, and not supported by ISY yet. The LCD-1-GLWH is most likely a multichannel device, and if so, also not supported YET.
October 31, 20169 yr Any update on this topic? I have 5 Evolve LCD-1 (5-Button Glass Scene Controllers) and two-scene Levity Vizia Z-Wave devices (among many other manufacture's devices). I've tried ISY firmware 4.x and alpha 5.0.6, but no luck getting the Evolve or Vizia scene controllers working. VIZIA: I see events from the Vizia in the viewer, but cannot successfully include it. EVOLVE: I am able to include the Evolve scene controller and get five buttons added to the admin console. However, they do not work. 1) I cannot get a successful query, or status updates and 2) there is no way to program the LCD. The Evolve LCD-1 is the most user friendly scene controller and ascetically pleasing. It worked great with a Vera hub, but not ISY. Any ideas in how to get these functional would be appreciated. http://www.evolvecontrols.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Evolve-Controls-Scene-Controllers.pdf Edited October 31, 20169 yr by n8sabes
October 31, 20169 yr Leviton Vizia RF+ ZWave Scene Controller with On-Off Switch - VRCS4-MRZ - This is a 4-button device with an fade up/down button. The device partially works in v5.0.6. It creates only one scene button, but that scene button does work for controlling scene responders. Evolve - Haven't tested yet.
November 1, 20169 yr Thank you. I care most about the Evolve scene controllers as they have a superior user experience -- tells the user exactly what each button does, and they're ascetically high-end. These Evolve controllers can dynamically update text next to the buttons so you can have daytime or nighttime scenes or actions based on various real-time state. I don't know how this might be achieved with the ISY yet, but it sure would be fantastic to get them working. As for the Visia, mine is VRCS2-MRZ and I cannot add the device at all.
November 2, 20169 yr Hi n8sabes, These devices will only be useful in the 5.0.x branch of the ISY because we do not support Z-Wave scenes in the 4.5.x branch (the current official release).
