Scottmichaelj
Hands-On Review: Logitech Harmony Elite Remote http://www.electronichouse.com/daily/smart-home/hands-on-review-logitech-harmony-elite/ Looks like a nice and complete remote for people who don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a professional system like RTI. EDIT: There are also dedicated hard buttons for lights and outlets plus a +/- button for dimming. Link to comment
Methos000
This looks pretty darn nice to me. I'll have to upgrade from my old Harmony 900 finally! Does anyone have any hands on experience? It says it supports Insteon but I can't find any details on that. Link to comment
Xathros
I believe the Insteon support is only via the new Insteon hub. -Xathros Link to comment
mapeter
It is nice that Logitech moved the play, pause, etc buttons back down to the middle of the Elite remote. My Harmony Ultimate One has those buttons at the top of the remote, which is an ergonomic nightmare. Now we just need Logitech to allow either remote to fire http requests. It may be fire-and-forget, but being to send something like a /rest/nodes/<node>/cmd/DON/ command via wifi would be very nice. Link to comment
rpsa
I believe the Insteon support is only via the new Insteon hub. -Xathros According to the Logitech site compatibility search engine, it will support the ISY-994i/ir-pro but not the ISY-994i. It implies that the IR feature is needed. So, I guess you would have to place one of the included IR blasters at your ISY-994i/ir. Link to comment
