Can a Schlage door lock be made a scene controller? Whenever I try, the lock immediately gets added as a responder. The lock is a BE469NX.

    There's really no such thing as scenes in Z-Wave the way we think of Insteon scenes. Yes, you can add a Z-Wave device into a scene, but internally the ISY just treats it as an individual device. Scenes in Z-Wave appear to be limited to outlets and switches, I doubt there will ever be a scene capable door lock.

     

    Also, the ISY doesn't support true Z-Wave scenes (yet?).
