telljcl
I've read several threads on this going back several months, but I still can't make it work. I just updated my M1XEP FW several weeks ago because It wouldn't work with Windows 10 ISY version is 4.2.5 FW, 4.2.30 UI (never have understood why they are different) Since then, ELK and ISY don't speak: 1 - I've gone into "Dashboard" and set TLS 1.0 / Medium, no verify for client. 2 - I've taken passwords out of M1XEP, and checked the "don't use passwords" box - saved and rebooted M1XEP. It is still set that way when I return. 3 - I've tried both port 2101 (which is checked in M1XEP) and 2601 (checking SSL in ISY for 2601, unchecking for 2101) What do I still need to do? Thanks to anyone who can help.
elvisimprsntr
After upgrade ding the XEP it defaults to factory settings. You have to push you XEP config using the RP software and make sure 2101 is enabled. ISY uses 2101
telljcl
Thanks - I thought I'd done what you mention. When I exit ELK RP and then reconnect, the "check for no passwords / user names" is UNCHECKED every time, even though I clicked "ELK --> M1" after selecting the tick box. If I uncheck the "non secure port" box it will "take" through a reboot of M1XEP, but not the "No Passwords" box. Always unchecked after reboot. Seems it isn't "taking" it somehow? EDIT: Well I somehow got it to work, but NOT by following the prevailing method here (leave passwords blank). I put them back in and it seems to work now.
