benpeart
My PLM died and I replaced it. I then used restore device to initialize the new one. For some reason, I can't write changes out to 2 KeypadLinc Dimmer 5 button switches although the other 75 or so switches seem to be fine. The 2 KeypadLink switches can communicate with the other switches as the "all off/on" buttons work. It also appears to communicate with the PLM and ISY fine as I tried linking it again but after pressing the button, the console said the switch was already added so it obviously got the link message. Any suggestions? paulbates
Do they have the 1010 icons next to them? Try Stu's suggestion. If that doesn't work I would suggest factory resetting one of them and then restore device, see if that fixes it Paul
benpeart
Yes, they had the green binary icon indicating they had pending writes. Write Updates to Device didn't work which is why I started the thread. I also choose Link Management\Start Linking and then pressed the button on the keypad to get it to link. As I mentioned in my first post, that failed with "already added" but then when I tried to write out the changes the next time, it succeeded! I thought it might be a fluke so tried the same thing on the other keypad and sure enough, it fails to write before but then succeeded after attempting to link even though it doesn't add it again. I tried it on a 3rd switch (this one was not a keypad but just a regular dimmer) and sure enough - that one failed before but wrote successfully after the link attempt. I'm not sure what gets reset with the link attempt but it got my 3 switches working again. Only bummer is the last switch that I can't write to is a fan controller that I have to partially disassemble the fan to get to. That one will have to wait.
