Posted February 10, 20169 yr Has anyone had any experience using the monoprice zwave product line: http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=109&cp_id=10918&cs_id=1091804&p_id=10798&seq=1&format=2 http://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=10795 Just wondering if they work well with the ISY. I'm hesitant to buy anything online because of this.
February 10, 20169 yr http://www.monoprice.com/search/index?keyword=z-wave Decent prices if they work.
February 10, 20169 yr Author http://www.monoprice.com/search/index?keyword=z-wave Decent prices if they work. Yea that's why I hate buying online. Would hate to get them and they don't work and then I have to deal with the return process. Edited February 10, 20169 yr by method115
February 11, 20169 yr I've never had a problem with a Monoprice product. Been buying from them for a few years now and not a single issue. Although the only Zwave item I've bought from them is the dual load relay. Works great. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
February 11, 20169 yr I have a dozen or so of their plugin on/off modules. They all have worked flawlessly. They are a bit big, but they have an extra outlet so you don't lose anything. Range is decent, but not 100 feet. I have a motion/temp sensor on the way along with a couple garage door monitors. Will report back on what i find....
February 11, 20169 yr Do the plugin on/off support beaming? I need some for my door locks and the sale price is pretty good right now.
February 11, 20169 yr Author Do the plugin on/off support beaming? I need some for my door locks and the sale price is pretty good right now. Looks like the sale just ended. Price didn't go up that much though. From the data I've gathered looks like all their stuff is great except for the motion sensor. Several people saying it's slow to respond to movement and doesn't provide temp when it says it does. Also doesn't support adjusting for pets which just wont work for me.
February 13, 20169 yr JFYI - - as promised a report on the new devices i received. The monoprice motion/temp sensor reports temperature in "C" - I cannot find a way to change that. Garage door sensor works. There's not much to it though, but it does work. Both were added to the ISY easily with no hoops to jump through.
February 18, 20169 yr I just received 5 Monoprice plugin Z-Wave Light Dimmers (PID:11994), but they won't show up in the network tree. I can see them being added via the event viewer. ISY994i/zWave Dongle Firmware/UI; v4.3.26 ZWave Version: 4.55 Bootloader: 1.03 Library: Static
