Steve Sullivan
I'm noticing three of my switchlinc dimmers and one switchlinc relay are now not communicating. They are all V.35. I noticed two of them did this intermittently for a while. now all four. I'm running .13 but this happened with early releases too. I can't do a restore as it fails, I haven't tried much yet to diagnose, as I'm not at home. I'm wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on what to check out first for when I get there. I guess it could just be bad switches, although that would be disappointing as they are less than a month old. Thanks
Michel Kohanim
Hello Steve, Funny you should mention it: http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... hp?p=14784 We will have to get to the bottom of this as I am sure we are going to see more and more. Would you please do what I suggested in the previous post and let me know the outcome (that is when you get back home). With kind regards, Michel I'm noticing three of my switchlinc dimmers and one switchlinc relay are now not communicating. They are all V.35. windrockwater
stupid question: how did you reboot the plm? (I'm serious).
Michel Kohanim
Hi Steve, Thank you so very much for the update. I've heard very many reports on SWL 4.0 issues all of which are related to signal reception. I am almost certain you are going to experience the same issues again. At this point, I am very much considering posting a topic with warnings on SWL 4.0 as most of our issues (beyond the HL PLM issue) are related to SWL comm issues. Hello windrockwater, To reboot the PLM, unplug it and plug it back in. With kind regards, Michel After trying a few things I rebooted the plm.
