BRIGHT 994i indicator lamps (led's)

Is there a way to dim the LED's on the front of the 994i?  I have my 994i on a shelf at almost eye level and it is VERY bright working near it.  Be nice if I could dim the panel led's.  If not, seems like a nice addition to "Configuration".....

Thanks,

There is no adjustment for the LED brightness. I use Light Dims.

That's what I figured.  Thanks.

Seems odd that a device like this doesn't have that "customization" ability for the unit itself.

This has been a long time complaint by many here but as Stu indicated the *Light Dims* are a great choice. Others on a more frugal budget have either placed various types of tape or used a sharpie to dim the LED to their expected level.

Was just browsing reading random threads, had never heard of LightDims, just bought them on Amazon this is awesome!  I HATE LED lights so much to the point that people hate traveling with me because I go around the room at night putting books and stuff over everything.  I like it pitch black at night and can't stand when you have those blue LEDs, even one of them that light up the room.  Looking forward to this!!!

The LightDims even have a total blackout option, but I found that a second or third layer works wonders. I also use the ISY to turn down or off Insteon SwitchLinc and button LEDs during sleep.

I saw that, I think total blackout is too much (as that's what I do right now with electrical tape haha).  I don't mind a bit of light it's just ones like the blue LEDs on a TV or whatever that light up the whole room that drive me crazy!

The original LightDims web page. Indicates around a 80% reduction in brightness.

Depending on the LED's color and brightness.

My Blue Power LED on my ISY994i is a nice brightness with one covering it.

In my case the 100% blockage ones would be too much.
