Experiences with 994?  Looks like the only difference between this one, which is $25, and the new one, which is $90, is that the new one can be powered by the monitored conductors and does not require a separate power source.

    Don't waste the $25 on this unit.  You need the true voltage at the panel to accurately measure KWh, this one estimates it.  Garbage in Garbage out.

    I was wondering about that.  I didn't see any voltage probes.  But then I didn't see any on the new one either.
