Hi All,

After much troubleshooting and digging through the forums, I've reached an impasse in trying to get Nodelink up and running with my ISY. No matter how many times I reinstall/reboot/upload the node zip profile, nothing ever is populated within the ISY admin console. Here's what I have so far:

- ISY994iZw/IR PRO - factory reset, installed FW 5.02 and running 5.02 admin. Java caches cleared

- Networking Module added

- reset PLM (was new replacement received today).

- RPi3, running Jessie Lite; Nodelink 0.4.1 installed and appears to be running fine. All RPi packages up to date.

- Nodelink is looking after an Envislaink3 for DSC Panel and an Ecobee3. Nodelink sees and reports proper values for both devices, but shows consistent timeouts for ISY in the logs

- have tried to Install Nodes for the EVL3 and EB3 from within the Nodelink server several times; reloaded the profile zip several times and rebooted. Node Server in Admin shows islylink in slot 01, with options to Add Node or Add All Nodes. I've never once been able to see anything added to the ISY device tree.

I've also tried a fresh install to v 5.03, but it would lose all of my programs; after another factory reset I'm now back on 5.02. I do not know if its the Networking Module, the ISY FW or the Nodelink Server that is out of whack. I just recently added the Networking Module, so that side of ISY and Nodes and such is still really new to me.

If anyone has some troubleshooting advice, it would be very much appreciated!

Cheers,

Tom

Hi io_guy,

Thank You so much for the prompt reply (and the most excellent tools)!!. I just restarted the server, and attached a log of the startup entries. As well, two screen caps of ISY Admin showing the node entries. I followed your guide on the install/setup, and everything is set at default.

Any help in this regard is most appreciated!

Cheers,

Tom

Sweet Jebus...I had been mucking around with some wireless bridges and routing stuff for the past few days, and totally screwed up entering the values for my subnet. Can't believe I looked at it that many times and completely missed it!

Thank You so much for taking the time to look at this for me! So far, everything seems up and running great - I may have more questions down the road as I get my feet wet with this.

Cheers, and have a great weekend!

Tom
