Open Beta access

I am working on fixing a few install issues that I have noticed.  after which I will be providing a link to opt in for open beta testing.  If you do opt in for beta testing, I would hope that you do not down rank my app in the play store until I have had time to provide fixes to your issues and or crashes.  The open beta app will have the same billing rules as the app that will be placed on the open market, except that you will have access to earlier off market versions.  I will keep the beta access open for as long as I see it is need to work out most of the major bugs.

Why is the app asking for permissions to my contacts?

It needs access to your device login for enabling the trial. Mobi Linc did the same but is using an older version of the Android API so it doesn't ask for permission first. If you ignore this the app requires a purchase right away.

One odd thing I noticed.  In my living room, I have 3 sets of lights, Above tv, above chair and main.  The above chair and above tv are both set to gradually turn on and off while the living room main is set to instant.  When I use your app it is reversed.  The main is gradual and the above tv and above chair are instant.

Nor sure how my app would have really any effect on those type of settings? How are these conditions checked/stored? Do others apps process this corrected? Switches respond differently via the API then they do directly.

Loving this app so far. *Much* faster than Mobilinc. Better LAN/WAN detection.

I do still have a niggling issue with scenes. If I switch a scene on from the favorites page, the devices in the scene turn on but the icon in the app switches on then off again - leaving the scene devices on. This sometimes happens multiple time before it starts on. Only then can I turn the scene off again.

Is this for all scenes or just a few specific? What types of devices are in the scene?

Seems to happen with most of my scenes (I've not tested them all). Typically they contain one or two Switchlincs and a KPL button.

I've had lots of issues with scene status, as we all know, since technically scenes don't have a status it's tricky. I haven't commented on it in a while since I had created a ticket for it a while back. But now that multiple ISY support is working I'm hoping this is the next big item on the list :-)

Happens on my 6P as well - also submitted. It only started after I enabled the PIN.

I'll look into it.  I'm not seeing the reports.  normally I get them almost immediately.   Have you tried removing the pin and resetting it back up?  I a wondering if something went wrong with the encryption transfer.

Hmm - not so sure now. I removed the PIN - but it's still crashing. Got messages this time that submitting the crash report was successful (don't remember seeing that last time - so that may have been a PECK problem.. :P)

I found it. There was an error in the portal username PIN encryption.  I'll get a fix out right away. I do not know if the decryption string is fixable from your end.  From the looks of it your portal credential were toasted.  You may have to resign in or wipe and start over.   Stupid mistake on my part.

New update is out. You should see it in about an hour.  It was quick, but I think it will get you past the error and allow you to re-add your portal credentials.
