I held off doing step 6 -- Restore Devices -- because it sounds kinda scary. But I'm sure there are devices with garbage data, which seems to accumulate over time in Insteon devices. Questions: Is Restore Devices safe? Does the ISY verify the data it writes and tell me which devices couldn't be written correctly? Many thanks to all here who helped. Y'all a great! Link to comment
Brian H Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 You can always restore individual modules if they have issues and not the whole setup. In the Tools Tab, Show Device Link Tables and then use the Compare choice after the devices Link Table was read. Remember. Battery operated Insteon modules have to be woken up from power saving mode before accessing them. Link to comment
