Creating Schlage User Codes via Program

Featured Replies

I just purchased a Schlage BE469 and setting time of day/day of week codes are very important to me.  (code 1 active M-F 9a to 6p)

The Nexia bridge accomplishes this by sending codes and deleting codes based on when they should be active or not.  I just found out though (being new to both z-wave and ISY) that I can't use one controller for one function (Nexia) and another controller for others (ISY) for the same device.  It's either one or the other.

So, I would like to know if I can program user codes using ISY programs because even though there is only 1 reason to use a Nexia bridge and a hundred to use the ISY, it's kind of deal-breaker to not be able to have these time of day codes.

I previously found another post that might have addressed this but...

1.  I can no longer find it anywhere - I don't know what accidental magic I used to find it the first time and now can't.

2. Even if I do find it (and I will continue to search) it didn't answer my question directly.  There is code there but there were a lot of assumptions being made in the post so no one ever stated what is it is and where it runs.

So, any thoughts on how to send a code to a schlage at a particular time then remove it at another time?

Thanks-

Hi glw35,

Unfortunately there is no current way of changing user codes using programs or schedules in the ISY.  We are slowing adding device support to programs for the few things that are only currently available in the device view in the admin console (such as setting options and user codes).   We don't have a time frame for this, so I'm not sure when this support would be added for this lock.
