inxs4 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I've been trying to integrate several functions of the Ring.com doorbell. The doorbell has a "push the button ring the chime" and "motion triggers". I want to start out simple, when the button is pushed the front porch light is turned on for 5 minutes. On IFTTT there is a recipe for the Ring.com doorbell with the two functions one is the button push the other is motion detection. That is where I start to get a bit lost. I get to the "That" portion and get lost. I'm hoping someone can give a click by click tutorial of how to accomplish this. What I've read so far seems to be a real easy path from the ISY994i to IFTTT to trigger an event. I've not seen the other direction. Thanks for any assistance. -T
MWareman Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 First, do you have ISY Portal purchased and setup? This is needed for inbound triggers from IFTTT. Second, you will need to add the 'Master' channel to your IFTTT account. The IsY Portal can provide you the URLs you need to paste I to the Maker channel in the ''Then' elements of rules. Well go thru step by step once we've confirmed you have what's needed. Michael.
