trevorst Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 I have a Honeywell Lyric as a secondary controller to the ISY, to do this I had to transfer primary control to thr Lyric, then transfer primary back to the ISY. The Lyric then listed and could control the three switches I had in the network at that time. I have since added several more devices to the ISY but the Lyric still only shows the original three.. How do you keep the secondary contoller updated with the latest network map??? Do you have to transfer primary back and forth everytime you add a device???
rafarataneneces Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 From what I understand REST calls to the ISY994 and variables
trevorst Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 That would mean the secondary controller would need the capability to send REST calls and accept the data returned. It would seem to me that if Zwave allows for secondary contollers it would provide the mechanism to keep them in sync.
Chris Jahn Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Hi Trevorst, Haven't tried this with Lyric, but with ISY as primary, you should be able to just add the Lyric to ISY again and Lyric will be updated with any new Z-Wave nodes etc. Don't exclude the Lyric, just add it again (i.e. on ISY - Z-Wave -> Add/Include a Z-Wave Device, on Lyric go into learn mode)
